Digital innovation to enable patient self-testing of their own kidney function at home

NCKRF is delighted to have contributed to the STOK study led by Jonathan Murray, Renal Consultant at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The STOK (Self Testing Own Kidneys) study allows transplant patients to test their own kidney function at home, with the use of two devices.

This video features a discussion with lead investigator, and Consultant Nephrologist, Dr Jonathan Murray, a patient and patient representative on the trial, to discuss how the study came about and what was required from the participants.
