What is a complaint?

A complaint arises when an expression of dissatisfaction is received from an individual or group regarding the activities of the Northern Counties Kidney Research Fund.

The Fund recognises that complaints are an important part of user feedback. All complaints will be investigated fully and fairly.  

Complaints will be dealt with in confidence
 

How to make a complaint

Complaints should be made in writing 

Details should include:

  • The nature of the complaint.
  • Whether the complaint involves an individual who is fundraising on behalf of the Fund or is a member of the Scientific Committee or is a member of the Main Committee or is a Trustee. 
  • When the event about which you are complaining took place and if it is still ongoing.
  • What action you would expect to see as an outcome.
  • Your contact details.

Complaints will be assessed by Professor Sayer (Honorary Secretary of the Fund), and you will receive a full response to your complaint or an acknowledgement within 7 working days of receipt.

If it is not possible to issue a full response within the 7 working days you will receive an acknowledgement and we will tell you what is being done to deal with your complaint, when you can expect the full reply, and from who.
