Although the Clipper RWYR has no fundraising connection with this charity, we thought the important subject of the shortage of organs should be mentioned in our pages.
After all, this race is being organised to raise awareness of Organ Donation and Transplantion. However, a further and very interesting aspect to these proceedings: each of the boats will have a crew which includes two amatuer personnel connected to the renal world; a mix of renal physician and organ transplant patient. Quite a task to undertake even for a fit and healthy body!
