We are using our cycling holiday to help raise money for Kidney Research with which Jean has been closely involved. We hope to keep you updated throughout the journey via e-mail.
We all depart by bicycle from home on 3rd Sept. and travel across to Heysham(Nr. Morecombe) and cross to the Isle of Man and Dublin. We then cycle down the west coast of Ireland to Roslare where we get the ferry to Rosscoff in Brittany(thus cutting out the busy south of England).
We cycle along the Brest – Nantes canal for approx. 3days and cross the Loire at St. Nazaire before travelling along the west coast of France to Bordeaux and south again to Duras.
We hope to complete the Journey in approx, 3 wks.(Approx. 800mls)
